Thursday December 3 Skandi-themed Christmas - traditions, food and maybe something small to make
We've been to the Clink restaurant in HMP Brixton for lunch, to the special exhibition at Strawberry Hill House, had a tour of the Royal Hospital with a real Chelsea pensioner, been to the Mayfield Lavender Farm, and to the recycling centre at Smugglers Way. Just before Christmas we went to Dennis Severs' house in Spitalfields for an atmospheric experience. Our first trip ever was to the little-known National Opera Studio - in Chapel Yard right on the Wandsworth one-way where we heard trainee singers.
We hope to get to Eltham Palace and Fenton House in Hampstead, plus possibly go on the Strictly Come Dancing costume tour too.
